The lecture “International Law for Climate Change” and the LLM Program of the Chinese University of Hong Kong were held in School of Law

At 2:00 PM, December 5, 2017, the lecture “International Law for Climate Change” and the LLM Program of the Chinese University of Hong Kong were held successfully at Room 116 in School of Law. The campus talk was given by Prof. Benoit Mayer from Chinese University of Hong Kong, Faculty of Law, and hosted by Prof. Mark Poustie from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, School of Law. More than ten students and teachers attended the campus talk.

 

Prof. Mark Poustie gave a brief introduction about the high academic achievements of Prof. Benoit Mayer and a warm welcome to him.

 

 

Prof. Benoit Mayer introduced the challenge that climate change brings to the world, the opportunities for our legal students, and gave analysis with international law, lively and humorously. Then, Prof. Benoit Mayer introduced the history and development situation of Chinese University of Hong Kong. The Chinese University of Hong Kong is a famous research university and Faculty of Law is a fast developing law school full of vigor. The LLM program of Chinese University of Hong Kong is designed for students who are interested in legal departments, government agencies, academic institutions and non-governmental organizations.

 

Later, Prof. Benoit Mayer presented the faculty of Chinese University of Hong Kong, Faculty of Law. He focused on the application way and attentions. Finally, Prof. Benoit Mayer said that the university welcomes the application from SUFE School of Law students and enthusiastically answered many related questions. The campus talk ended in a satisfactory way.
